The Horrifying Sight of the Grave

It is a saying of Sayyiduna Sheikh Abu bakr Shibly (R.A), “I saw my neighbour after he had died in a dream and asked him, “How has Allah (S.W.T) treated you?” 

He replied by saying, “I have just gone through a lot of hardships.  Especially during the questions of Munkar and Nakeer. 

I got very scared and started to fear whether I died with my Iman (faith) or not. 

Then I heard a voice echoing, “It is because you did not use your tongue in the right way in the world that you are facing these hardships”. 

Now the angels were coming closer and closer to punish me. 

Suddenly a beautiful person, who smelt beautiful appeared between me and the angels of punishment and helped me in answering the questions posed by the Angels.

I thanked my helper who did this big favour upon me and said to him, “May Allah (S.W.T) has mercy upon you, who are you?”

He replied “with the blessings of your Durood Shareef, I have been made. 

I am here to help you at every point of hardship during your stay in the grave and on the day of Resurrection.”
