Petition Against Anti-Islamic Movie

Janathi Message strongly condemn the release of the anti-Islamic film ‘Innocence of Muslims’, which has been screened in the US, and excerpts of which have been allowed to circulate online. The film denigrates the faith of Islam, the character of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), His Blessed Family (R.A) as well as His Noble Companions (R.A), in the most defamatory and distasteful manner. We further condemn the publication of the derogatory caricatures of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) in the French media on Wednesday 19th September, which came as an added insult.

Muslims all over the world share a deep and passionate love of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and any insult directed against His noble character is regarded as highly offensive and totally unacceptable. Muslims will not tolerate the disrespect of any Prophet from Prophet Adam (A.S) all the way to Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).

We have every right to protest but we should do this is in a peaceful manner and not harm others or destroy property in the process.

Taking part in a demonstration, rally or protest is a high-profile way to take a stand on issues important to you. Protests can make a real difference leading to changes in governmental policies and laws. Peaceful protests allow people to come together and stand up for what they believe in, and can be a very effective way of promoting change.

Sign the HM Government e-petitions below to voice your concern against the anti-islamic movie and caricatures.
