190 I am a little confused with question 163. It states that Hazrat Nuh (A.S) was the First Rasool, and in q164 it says that the First Prophet was Hazrat Adam (A.S). Could you please tell me the difference between a Rasool and Prophet as referred to in these two questions?
All those Prophets sent from Allah (S.W.T) to his creation are known in Arabic as Nabi’s (Messengers) Conveyers of the hidden truth, this started from Hazrat Adam (A.S).

Rasools are those who brought with them either new orders (Shariats) or Kitaab (Book) to guide those who left the laws of Allah (S.W.T) the First Rasool for guidance sent by Allah (S.W.T) is Hazrat Nuh (A.S).

Hence Hazrat Adam (A.S) was the First Nabi (A.S), Hazrat Nuh (A.S) was the First Rasool while our Beloved Muhammad (S.A.W) was the Last Nabi and Rasool. A Rasool can also be titled a Nabi, but not every Nabi is a Rasool.
