579 Can you say the Azaan without Wudu?
Azaan can be given without Wudu, but not in the state of impurity, by the insane, intoxicated or by a Faasiq (open sinner) person(s).

However it is much more rewarding to give Azaan in state of Wudu. Please do remember that the Iqamaah can only be given in state of Wudu.
